Pilates for Low
Back Strength
Build a stronger low back in five weeks. Taught by Elaine Entenza.
Who this is for?
This course is for you if you have chronic, dull, or achy lower back pain or tightness — the kind that lingers, not the kind that just happened.
It is not a substitute for medical care. If you have an acute injury, sudden accident, or severe pain, see a doctor or physical therapist and heal first. Then come back.
Five Weeks, One Skill at a Time
Week 1 — Deep Abdominal Connection
Your abs have layers. This week targets the deepest one — learning to pull in rather than flex out when you initiate movement.
Week 2 — Pelvic Stability
Your legs move independently from your pelvis. Train your pelvis to stay stable and connected to your spine, not your leg bones.
Week 3 — Spine and Breathing
Open up your thoracic spine and use breathing to decompress your lower back. Chair and folded hand towel needed.
Week 4 — Lengthen and Unload
Combine core engagement with spinal lengthening to lighten the load on your discs and joints. Chair and bar needed.
Week 5 — Flow
Put it all together at a continuous pace. Stay focused, use the breath to move. Chair needed.
A new class unlocks each week. Complete each workout three times before the next one drops.
How the Course Works
When you purchase, you get immediate access to the opening video and your first class. A new class unlocks every seven days — five weeks total. Each class includes a short educational intro followed by a targeted workout that builds on the week before.
Watch each new exercise completely before you try it. Follow Elaine's verbal cues closely. If anything feels sharp or burning, scale back to an easier variation.
What You'll Need
A mat for all five weeks. A chair and a folded hand towel starting in Week 3. A bar — a broomstick works — for Week 4. That's it.
Ready to Start?
Five weeks. One new class per week. $59.
